Fw 190 and Erla factory
 

Is it possible that Fw 190A-2/3 were produced and/or modified by Erla factory?

Hallo Pawel!

No Fw 190As were produced by Erla. One example known through photos apparently repaired at Erla VII Antwerp, but it is also known that Focke Wulf repair was not a regular thing there.

I've got a document (handwritten) from technical section of Spanish 15./51 from July 1943 giving two or three W.Nr. of unit's Fw 190. There is a word in parenthesis behind W.Nr. that looks similar to 'erla' but now I think it may be Spanish word 'cola' - and that probably means that number (W.Nr.) was placed on tail of the aircraft and was not a/c id number.

Yes, 'cola' means tail in spanish. It is posible to see a scan of the docs?

Can anybody identify them by subtype and earlier/later Luftwaffe or Spanish service?

All these planes hv to come from JG51 nd I guess are all A-2,

359 a A-2 hs been damaged on 180442 with LZA Leignitz
288 a A-2 or A-3
510 a A-2 100 % loss with 15.JG51 on 120843
3410 a A-5 ????,
5286 a A-2, hard-land. on 300742 with III.JG2 15%, + belly-landed on 200343 with 7.JG51 25%

Interesting is that no-one of the crafts repaired on your list, are listed has damaged by gen. loss-report

The answer seems simple - the listing gives service jobs done on armament installations of the a/c.

Yes, very simple to read spanish indeed, but why to use "cola" ???
Any idea of what is the EPAD..

EPAD=Elektro Pneumatisch Abzugs Durchladevorrichtung;
Hope you find simple to read german too.

The use of 'cola' is because is it shorter to say that,
instead: 'Número de Fabricación'.

Sorry to hv so dispraised the spanish language, for a french it is easier to understand spanish than german with an italian knowledge quite more easy, catalan, would be be better, in France the people hv also some schools, where language courses are dispensed

Oh, no problem Remi. I understand.

The EPAD is the device for cocking the guns using compressed air, hence the 'Pneumatisch'.
These air are dispensed by electric actuated solenoid valves, hence the 'Elektro'.
If somebody can provide more accurate description of how it works, will be welcome.
