Update Nachtjagd Combat Archive 1944 volume 2

Dear all,

A little update re. the Nachtjagd Combat Archive series for 1944, volume 2: last weekend, we have finished the proofs for Vol. 2 covering 16 March - 11 May 1944, including a 23-page analysis plus plotting map of the 30-31 March 1944 Nürnberg raid. It is now with the printers, so should be available with Red Kite/Wingleader Publishing by mid-March.

Cheers, Theo

I just got my copy of 1944 part 2 and it is great. It already (within 8 minutes) answered a couple of questions that have bothered me for a few years.

Hello Mr. Boiten,

Thank you very much for the amazing amount of work included in this Serie !

Page 125, picture below, maybe it is not a Lancaster, according to the motor we can see on the foreground ?

Thanks again and best Regards
Daniel

After I ordered two times the 1943 Part 3 by mistake last year, I ordered cautiously the two first parts for 1944.

Is there a proposed publication date for the Combat Archive which covers 23/24 September 1944?

Re: Update Nachtjagd Combat Archive 1944 volume 2

Hi all,

A little further update -we've just decided to split up the remainder of the 1944 manuscript into three separate volumes instead of two, as there's too much material for two volumes. Next one will cover 12 May 1944 till ca. 18-19 July 1944.

Will keep you posted!

Cheers, Theo
