B.577/15 is a viable serial for an Aviatik P.15,though the number on the exhaust may be unrelated to the serial.

Hi Clint. There is another photo of this B.II in Peter Grosz's "Aviatik B.Types" (photo no.44); caption says B.522/15 , Flg. Erz. Abt. 2. They had distinctive "2"s and "3"s but in your photo 2 numbers seem to be upside-down or am I seeing things?

Thanks for the correction. The details are as you say in WDF.102. I had that photo recorded in my excel doc. There is something strange about the numerals and yet, its not the obvious reversed negative as some of the serial appears to be in the correct direction.
