If they are dirt cheap to produce because you can do it so quickly then it will not take long to make a bit of money

I was nearly caught out by the mob that was taking Wikipedia articles and turning them into books. If they had not given the "author" a silly name I would not have checked who he was and they would have my £25

The real problem is that AI will become self feeding. If there are a number of AI "books" out there that all say the same rubbish thing. Correcting the record with your own brilliantly insightful and studiously researched masterpiece becomes harder and harder.

Gentlemen,

I suggest a bit of balance. Name authors will not lose their name recognition. Publishers also have name recognition. As a working book editor, I know publishers review everything coming in. Submissions have to be checked.

For some, the internet has taught them to think quickly and to act quickly. That should end immediately. Perhaps a list of "author" names should be posted here to assist others. And "publisher" names, if any. Something that has its own topic name and that can be added to as required.

We cannot take on the passive victim role here. Not at all.
