@edwest Fw190D pic seems to be (for me) a new photo of red 3 (or green 3, or black 3?) belonging to II/JG6 (Halle flugplatz_1945). Really interesting one! :) |
Re: Photos 3-2
@PArabellum,
could you please post this photo on the forum? Though I'm in Switzerland, I cannot access it, due to ebay policy... Thanks in advance Marc |

WoaW!
Dear Parabellum, talk about quick reaction! That's lightning speed! Thanks so much for your help. It is an excellent pic indeed. Is this plane already published in the FW 190 D Camouflage and Markings Part I? Cheers Marc |
Re: Photos 3-2
As far as I know, not to be seen in "Fw190D_Camouflage and markings_Part 1" but more pics were published in "Broken Eagles_1" p.14 and perhaps in some others publications.
Cheers, |

Black 3
Hello,
there seems to be some controversy about the W.Nr. of Black 3 at Halle. In the new JaPo title, it is stated that it would be 600 422, but no explanation for this as far as I can see (book just arrived, had only a quick glance so far). In the Dora book by Jerry Crandall, the here discussed new photo is included (courtesy of AMC), the close-up on the W.Nr. seems to show unmistakebly the digits 90, most likely 090. JC therefore presumed that 600 090 should be the full W.Nr. Where does the info about 600 422 come from? Possibly relating to another a/c at Halle? Best Regards, Matthias |
Re: Photos 3-2
The discussion sounds fascinating, but none of Ed West's photos were viewable. Instead all I could bring up was the following message in English or German: This listing (330094277292) has been removed or is no longer available. Please make sure you entered the right item number.

Re: Photos 3-2
I didn't see these photos in time before they were gone.
If someone saved them, could you possibly mail the Fw 190 photos to me, please? |
