TA-152 production?
 

I've read a lot of contradicting or vague information about TA-152 production. Any ideas?

Were any production TA-152C's completed?

Is production of the TA-152H agreed upon at 43 examples built?

No they were complete

Perhaps they never flew , waiting to be converted into TA 152C-11/R11 .

What about Ta152H's? Some sources speak about up to 150 planes built. BTW, the 152E's are said to habe been reconstructed H's.

When I say 43 examples I'm referring to TA-152 H's. Wnr. 150 001 - 150 040 and 150 167 - 150 169.

I still can't find any info. on the TA-152E's (E-1 or E-2?) being completed. What were thier WNr.'s? I thought 150 167 was believed as being used for E-2 conversion?

According to Hermann's book the recon 152E-1 was to be based on the Ta152B (Jumo213E) or the Ta152C (DB603L).

The Ta152E-2 became the Ta152H-10 and was based on the Ta152H-1.

for ta152E proof of construction, refer to this forum, on 17th June 2006, 20:16, with a pic of ta152 with short span wing with ju213 engine => ta152E
you will see clearly these specific caracteristics on the planes.

I am still wondering if anything will turn up about Ta 152s seen by friend lying on an airfields scrapyard in (IIRC) Bavaria.

Not able to find anything on the Ta-152E in this forum on June 17, 2006.

I know what the characteristics are, trying to see if any "production" a/c were completed.

In the RLM Flugzeug-Programm Nr. 227 Ausgabe 1 dated 15.12.1944, the following is given about the Ta 152:
Ta 152B-5/R-11 Zerstörer 1585 aircraft to be built by Erla with production to commence in May 1945.

Ta 152C-1/R-11 Jagd Mimetall to deliver 770 aircraft from February 1945, ATG to deliver 965 aircraft from March 1945, Siebel to deliver 80 aircraft from March 1945, Fieseler to deliver 1620 aircraft from May 1945 and WFG (Arb.Gem. "Roland") to deliver 1990 aircraft from May 1945.

Ta 152C-3/R-11 Jagd Siebel to deliver 1920 aircraft from June 1945, ATG to deliver 1035 aircraft from July 1945 and GWF to deliver 915 aircraft from July 1945.

Ta 152E-2/R-11 Aufklärer Mimetall to deliver 870 aircraft from March 1945.

Ta 152H-0/R-11 Jagd/Höh. Fw to deliver 30 aircraft from December 1944 to January 1945.

Ta 152H-1/R-11 Jagd/Höh. Fw to deliver 4340 aircraft from January 1945,
Erla to deliver 2250 aircraft from March 1945 and GWF to deliver 105 aircraft from March 1945.

Ta 152H-10/R-11 Aufklärer/Höh. Mimetall to deliver 220 aircraft from May 1945.

These are all new production aircraft and versions, no conversions.

Regarding Erla the Ta 152B-5/R11 - programm was deleted in February 1945 and later the Ta 152H-1/R 11 - programm reduced to roundabout 1300 a/c's.
