Final destination: Slovakia!

Hi fellows,
here is a wonderful book you must see:
http://www.kaso.ahoj.sk/the_15th_usa...y/FDScover.jpg

It describes destiny of US and some British airmen shot down onver Slovakia during the war. It has 288 pages and it contains about 500 photos (90% of them published for the first time), 25 big color profiles, some formation drawings and maps.

More information including samples from the book you can find on web page http://www.kaso.ahoj.sk/the_15th_usaaf/ and in this P D F, including ordering info.

Language of the book is Slovak, but all photos, annexes and color profiles have English caption. As well as crews and plane data are in English. For English speaking readers we may provide some summaries based on particular interest in few crash cases.

How do US residents pay for this book? Dollars in registered letters usually works well.

Peter,

you mean: really mistakenly reported planes, or just behind the border of the wartime Hungary? Don't forget, that the borders were changed, so that Hungary was bigger and Slovakia smaller. I am sure, that you collected the crashes behind the Slovak border today, but during the WW II, parts of southern Slovakia with Hungarian ethnical majority were attached to Hungary (maybe it is necessary to explain for the foreigners)

Anyway, gz again, it is a must have for everyone;-)

See you soon,

Acceptance of PayPal payment would be ideal. I am definitely interested in a (signed) copy.
