Thanks for posting Ed!
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=130123019110 Anyone having more info on this Bf 109 E which seems to have "0" as tactical number- or as I believe, a piece of the top "flag" bar of a "1" visible under the man's right arm - Making it to "10"??? |
Re: Photos 6-9
Hi,
yes you are right it`s yellow 10 probably from JG53. BTW the double chewron seems to be crash-landed plane of stab I(J)/LG2. Regards Robert |
Re: Photos 6-9
Hi all
Interesting photo http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=130123015951 Assume the Bf109 has run over the Bf110, but only using its port wing to the Bf110 tailplane breaking/pushing over both fins. What is also interesting is the 'letters?' outboard of the upper wing crosses. Assume there are the individual aircraft letter. Nice photo though. regards MS |
Re: Photos 6-9
Thanks Robert!
Mark, there is a nose of another 109 visible at the far left side of the photo. This ac seems to be on it's belly. Perhaps the culprit? |

Re: Photos 6-9
Can somebody identify the British aircraft marked "F": http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...ayphotohosting
What a/c type is it? The others (a Hurricane and two Battles) are not difficult to identify but this one looks pretty unusual to me. |

Just compare the aft fuselage and wing attach points with the other Battles. Looks the same. Regards, Mike |
