Do you happen to know the exact birth date of Squadron Leader Desmond Cooke? All I have found is the year 1907:

28 June 1907 in Penang, Straits Settlement. He was not born in Cyprus but his mother was living in Nicosia when he was reported missing. He took command of the Sqn from Sqn Ldr C F H Grace Oct 37
