Any difference from previous edition? I know it's going to be expensive and if there are no changes, I will pass on it.

The first edition of this historic text, an indisputable and virtually unobtainable reference, is finally reissued, reviewed, corrected and expanded. This book offers a wealth of information including a comprehensive overview of the intervention of German fighters in the skies of Normandy, the Ile de France and then in Provence after the Allies landed on the coasts the Mediterranean. Includes photos. Text in French.
Note section I highlighted.

Unless the revision is substantial, with greatly expanded material, I will stay with my first edition. Too often, I have fallen for the same ploy, buying a second edition of an existing work, only to find out that the changes were minimal and not worth buying.
Don't get me wrong, I love the book and refer to it at least on a weekly basis. However, a few corrected Werk Nummer is not enough to make me shell out what is sure to be at least $80-100.

I have the first edition and have pre-ordered this one on the publisher's website, I will try to let you know if there is substantial changes when it's out (it has been postponed a couple of times already).

Dear all,

Does the first edition of this book also go into the German Nachtjagd operations in the Invasion area during June/July 44?

Cheers, Theo

There's only a chapter about I./JG 301 but the author have published an article on the subject in Aero Journal in late 2014 : http://www.aero-journal.com/aero-journal43.php

I am not sure it have the same level of details as the original book but it's certainly more up to date.

Despite the title, the book is strictly about Bf 109 and Fw 190 units.
