Information concerning loss of Felwebel Karl Zellner - 595 missions
 

Hi,

Can anyone provide information on the loss of Feldwebel Karl Zellner who was a German Cross in Gold Winner and flew 595 combat missions. I think he must have been a Stuka pilot but did not find anything on him when I searched on the board.

He was killed on the 13th September 1943 in the East.

Indeed Stuka pilot with StG 77, was awarded RK after his death.

Zusammenstoß in der Luft mit Ju 87 D-3, Werk-Nr. 100007. Bruch 100 %. Uffz Lobert mit Fallschirm abgesprungen, aber am Leitwerk hängen. Uffz Lobert am 1943-09-14 im Lazarett Poltawa seinen Verletzungen erlegen.
