Last Do 17 Losses Against Mainland UK
 
Can anyone confirm the last 3 operational losses again the UK were:

25-26 April 1942: 10./KG 2, south of Worthing to 219 Sqn
26/27 April 1942: 10./KG 2 unknown location & cause
3/4 May 42: 12./KG 2 south of Portland to 604 Sqn

4 May 42 was Do 17 Z-2 3306 U5+CW 100% unbekannt, page in your mailbox soon.

FF - Uffz Siegfried Kuglat
BO - Gefr Karl Küster
BF - Uffz Karl Graf
BM - Uffz Hans Oskar Jansen

Lost at sea 40 miles south of Worthing at 2345.

The bodies of the last two named airmen were recovered from the sea three and a half miles SW of Shoreham on 2nd June 1942. The bodies of the pilot and observer were never recovered.
Unit assumed from an ausweis and by a dental certificate issued at Achmer and headed 12.Staffel.

Failed to return from a flight over the Channel off Le Havre.

FF - Lt Helmut Schobbert
BO - Gefr Kurt Motz
BF - Fw Heinrich Nadler
BM - Gefr Johann Plischeck

All lost without trace.

Lost at sea off Portland, Dorset

FF - Ofw Albert Heyer
BO - Stabsfw Franz Warwas
BF - Fw Helmut Fahle
BM - Ofw Heinrich Pillmann

Body of Franz Warwas was washed ashore at Chesil Beach on 5th Sept 1942 and was estimated to have been in the water for about 3 months. All other bodies lost without trace.

Thanks both. I have all the usual sources but just need to know if there were more afterwards. IV./KG 3 was suggested but they were flying Ju 88s

There are a number of errors in LCA such as this as the source is either the K Report or the Quartermaster Generals Returns which themselves had a number of misspellings
