Hi Rick, I was particularly interested to see this post while searching for information on Bischoff.
In the last day or so I've acquired a flugbuch which lists many flights of crews from 2/KG27, from the first day of the war up until 5.9.40! In this book is a man named Bischoff, who I now believe is the same guy as below. Would you mind quoting your source for his awards and total of 176 missions and do you have further information on him. I would like to confirm that these two Bischoffs are in fact the same man. Best regs, Steve. |

Hi Steve,
I only have his sterbebild with a good photo of him with orders but a good side and a half of text about him including information about his 176 war flights. Please see photo of him below. Rick |

Hi Rick, thanks for providing the photo of Bischoff, is there any chance of a scan of the write up on him regarding his flights?
I would like to confirm whether he's the same Bischoff who may have had service with 2/KG157 and later 2/KG27. Preliminary research shows " my" Bischoff took part in 13 war flights over Poland during Sept.1939. I've checked the Luftwaffe Officers Career database without any joy. Best regs, Steve. |

Hi Rick, could you help any further with information on Bischoff?
He seems a very elusive guy I can't find nothing on the net at all. Best regs, Steve. |
