Willi Popper Gefallen?

Hi, Have recently been sent this excellent portrait photo in flight gear of Willi Popper. photo states that Willi was killed and I am now searching for information regarding his fate? The pic came with a pic of Uffz. Waldemar Haussner of 1/KG2 who was lost on the 20.05.41 in Russia, perhaps Willi was from KG2???

Any help greatly appreciated.

Poppen, not Popper?

Ju 88A-4 WNr. 300237, B3+JH of 1./KG 54

Crew: FF Uffz. Walter Elsner, B Uffz. August Gill, Bf Uffz. Wilhelm Poppen & Bs Fw. Bruno Klos

MIA 14.June 1944 during anti-shipping sortie to the mouth of the Orne River, cause unknown.

I do not know if he had been with KG 2 earlier.
