Re: Naval Aviation in the Second World War

A warning on this book - I ordered this one online sight unseen thinking it would have lots of rare/interesting WW2 naval aviation images. Oddly, this book has a LOT of post WW2 images (right up to present day) and text! A chapter on Midway has only one photo of George Gay, and many post Midway photos of aircraft in star & bar markings! It's a strange non-chronological layout with cut and paste text from other sources. It could have easily been so much better, and easily been "Naval Aviation in the Second World War" - but heads up folks it's NOT as advertised.
