To mark the 75th anniversary of the Axis assault, me and my friends have prepared the first volume of the story about Bf 109 in Yugoslavia. More details at

Boris,

I wonder if you could find a photo of Yugoslav Hurricane Mk I with DB's engine, such Hurri-Messer in VVKJ service?

Chaps were writing about the Luftwaffe holy grail on another topic. Well, the photo of the LVT-1 is the holy grail of the Yugoslav aviation which still hasn't been found...

There was such similar thing in Poland, a fighter PZL.50 Jastrząb. Several years ago one photo had sufraced on Ebay, and was bought by my several friends (private co-operative, and more then 1000 euro had been paid then by this one particular photo).
Next it was published in Poland in Polish aviation magazines and the next 2- or 3 photos of this plane surfaced too soon later.

Maybe in LVT-1 case such similar miracles would happen soon or later?
Still waiting...

This book is indeed a milestone in the history of the Yugoslav air force during the war, and the outstanding Bf 109, in general. Congratulations! I am really looking forward to reading it.

I have just got it, very nice and fundamental book, especialy for Messerchmittologist and many funs of Me 109s all over the world could be very, very usefull.

For the rest miniority interested only in VVKJ's aviation is also recommended too.

It has been done a lot of work to make it.

mw
