Luftwaffe crashes in Beds and Bucks (UK)

Hi to everyone, apologies I have not been on forum as much as I should been involved in several archaeological projects in UK and in Jordan. Could anyone confirm to me the following bases for :-
4/KG30 on October 6th 1940 (Ju 88 at Colmworth)
3/ Aufklarungsgruppe Ober der Luftwaffe on October 24th 1940
(Dornier 215 at Eaton Socon)
and 16/KG2 on 23rd February 1944 (Me410A at Radnage in Bucks)
Im researching Luftwaffe crashes in Beds and Bucks, hopefully for a new volume in the War Torn Skies series. Not exactly "busy" counties as you can see with 3 Luftwaffe crashes 1939-45. I have searched the crash of the Dornier 215 some 20 years ago and found pieces of airframe and an RAF tea spoon dated 1940 most likely from the recovery crew (2 of whom were sadly killed the day after when their salvage crane jib hit 11000 volt overhead cables in the field). Both the Junkers 88 and Me410A have been excavated. If anyone is interested in more info on these crashes Im more than willing to share it with anyone. alternatively to the forum If you wish please feel free to contact me on j.evenhart@ntlworld.com
Cheers all Julian

Re: Luftwaffe crashes in Beds and Bucks (UK)

Hello Julian,

Being from Buckinghamshire, but now living on the Northants/Beds border I am also very interested in these particular Luftwaffe losses. Please go to our website; www.aircrewremembrancesociety.com and you will find details that we have researched regarding these losses. We are more than willing to swap information for our mutual interest.

Kind regards,

Melvin
