RAF (2 Group?) flights on the night of 14-15th March 1941 and 15-16th March 1941
 

Good night to all members.

I am trying to establish which Squadrons flew bombing missions to VANNES-MEUCON airfield on the night of 14-15th March 1941 and/or 15-16th March 1941.

Have tried 107 Squadron (Blenheims) but they did not fly those particular nights.

Any information (ORB or RAF Logbook) about airmen or Squadrons that flew those particular nights to Vannes?

Hi Adriano,

According to 2 Group ORB (TNA, AIR25/23) it concerned the night of 15/16March 1941, 4 Blenheims of 21 Squadron and 1 of 82 Squadron being involved.

Just confirming therefore: 9 machines scheduled, 6 took off (1 did not find the target) and 5 bombed (4 from 21 and one from 82 Sqdn, JUST as you informed = 100% BINGO).
