Hi Matti
Is the WNr.088 8068 not false?
According my info is the production started after the given date.

According to my files 088 8001...088 8290 were manufactured by SFW approximately between June 1940 and June 1941. 088 8068 was then delivered to Luftwaffe well before this loss on June 1941. Maybe edNorth has more exact info?

I must be blind. Your right about this.
I looked at the block WNr.088 8501 to WNr.088 8890
Must check my eyes.

Re: Uffz M Lehnerer and crew killed 19/20.4.41

088 8066 is RC+DW and 088 8069 RC+DZ. So quite probably 088 8068 is RC+DY.

Re: Uffz M Lehnerer and crew killed 19/20.4.41

RC+DB Dornier Do 17
RC+DC Dornier Do 17Z
RC+DC Dornier Do 17Z
RC+DF Junkers W34hau
RC+DG Heinkel He 45
RC+DX Junkers Ju 88A-12 WNr.088 8067

this is what I have.

Matti

Checking my second hand source (John Foreman and 1941 Part 2 The turning point), it says

1941-04-19 that the unit was II./KG 76 (you 4./KG 77)
1941-06-07 that the WNr was 8086 (you 8068)

Can you confirm your sources state what you say and that the printing errors belong to Foreman?

Cheers
Stig

Re: Uffz M Lehnerer and crew killed 19/20.4.41

1941-04-19 source NVM, which was written by II/KG 77. Also the whole crew has EKM numbers of MOB 71038, which is 4./KG 77. Also GQM has the same info (Item 16 of 21.4.1941). IIl/KG 76 is definitely an error.

1941-06-07 source NVM and GQM. Both have 8068. 8086 cannot be correct, because it was operated by I/KG 51 and damaged 1941-03-16 at Fl.Pl. Villaroche (35 %). Therefore 8086 is obviously also an error.
