Information on Uffz. Georg Hagler - lost over Norwich May 1943?

Hi,

Could anyone provide details concerning the loss of Uffz. Georg Hagler.
He was lost on a mission to England on 5th May 1943.
Could he have been involved in the mission to Norwich. Several aircraft were lost on their way home. I believe they were intercepted by Mosquitos. Is there any information on the rest of his crew?
Have looked in The Blitz - Then and Now andno specific information.
Thanks
Rick

Just for curiosity...is there a WX (weather) report of the area in question around the time of the crash?

Another doubt of mine: Most of WW2 machines did had only one "Artificial Horizon". Any radio report emitted by the crew informing an engine failure or instrument failure?

A.

The Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute only has daily weather reports for the period.
