Crash of a Ju W34 on 3 February 1943
Hello,
On 3 February 1943, Fw Friedrich Mayer, an instructor at Königsberg/Neumark airfield, was killed when his Ju W34 crashed during an instrument flight. I would like to add to the above: _ the unit of Mayer _ the WNr of the aircraft _ the crashplace. Thanks in advance Laurent |

Thanks Jim
The precise crashplace was very probably Bärwalde in der Neumark, Brandenburg, Germany (now Mieszkowice, Poland). http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mieszkowice http://www.maplandia.com/poland/zach...o/mieszkowice/ The aircraft was coming from Königsberg in der Neumark, now Chojna, Poland. |
