I assume you had no luck checking any of them on Joe Baugher's site or b24bestweb, correct?

41-23660 shows up here: http://www.armyaircorps-376bg.com/b24s_lost.html

It says:

Messina, Sicily, Jan 31, 1943 (Mission was to attack railroad ferry installations in harbor)

41-23660 Poison Ivy, Pilot: Stewart, W. S., Crash landing at base

This is also on b24bestweb but without its fate: http://www.b24bestweb.com/poisonivy1.htm

http://www.b24bestweb.com/poisonivy3.htm

41-23724 is here with fate:
http://www.b24bestweb.com/flyingcock3.htm

41-23722 is here with fate:
http://www.b24bestweb.com/bomerang7.htm

41-23692 El Lobo:
http://www.americanairmuseum.com/person/58787
http://www.b24bestweb.com/ellobo-v1.htm

41-23691 Island Queen (nothing on fate):
http://www.b24bestweb.com/islandqueen-the.htm

For B-24 41-23687: it appears to have been in the 93rd BG 330th BS, shot down Lille France Oct 9, 1942 .

For 41-23656, went through several name changes with the 98th. Rowdy II, Rowdy Anne, etc http://www.b24bestweb.com/Pics-R-ROV-ROX.htm

Final Fate here: (returned to US)

41-23727 No history or final disposition, but had an accident (Mechanical Failure, Damage not reported) on March 31, 1945 while with the 423rd AAFBU. (according to Aviation Archaeology site, see Revi16 comments below).

Thanks Guys for your swift replies.
You are correct Rolland, nothing given for those I list.
Those you have given are a good start, I must spend more time searching, but fear it will take me years rather than hours :)

You can try posting each S/N on Fold3 and see if it is associated with a MACR.
https://www.fold3.com/browse/251/hVZf1Up9j

or on Aviation Archeology to see if it is associated with an accident.
(The site is currently down due to hackers.)

I just picked your last a/c 41-23727. You'll need for the site to get up and running.

Hello,
None I listed are in the "accident-report.com" serial numbers list.
I noted that the Joe Baugher site skipped the numbers.as does aviation archaeology as far as I could see.
Hence my request here.
These few are just the tip of the iceberg.

Alex

Looks like this one was used as a Stateside Trainer
Accident Reports.com - 43-03-03, B-24D, 41-23727, CLOVIS AAF 40 MI NE, NM
From my link above, Aviation Archeology - 45-03-31, B-24D, 41-23727, T-4, 423AAFBU, Walla Walla AAF, 4AF.

A simple Google search of B-24 41-23725 brought this up. https://www.worldwar2.ro/forum/index...c=1613&st=1275 it's about half way down. If you hit Ctrl F and type in 41-23725 it will take you right to it.

You can always send an e-mail to NASM for a copy of the aircraft record history card. They mail you a copy in a few weeks.

I'm not going through your entire list, but this took minutes not years.

Alex,

Some of the serials (e.g. 41-23681 and 41-23722) are mentioned in the online book "Under the Southern Cross: the Liberators in the South Pacific" as serving with 90th BG in the SWP. No fate mentioned, but then, not all a/c were lost...
