He 219 Specialist(s) Needed
 

I have found HW 5 ULTRA messages noting a Heinkel He 219 WNr. 097 [sic]
as being "ready" at Flensburg in mid-February 1945. Former Halter: I./NJG 1.

It is reasonably certain that no He 219 received the WNr. 097; rather, it seems probable that this "097" was either 190 097 or 290 097. Can any reader provide the full Werknummer for this aircraft? Any other info wouldalso be very much appreciated. I have consulted Ferguson, The Heinkel He 219, without success.

It should be 190 097. There was no 290 097 manufactured. The same aircraft was damaged at Flensburg on 13-Apr-45.

Thank you ever so much for providing info about He 219A-0 WNr [190] 097.
Your datum fits nicely with 190 097.

At present, I have data for 290 079, then a gap, then 290 109. It seemed
possible to me that "097" could fit into this gap.

Dear Rabe,

Could you perhaps enlighten me about 290079 and 290109 ? Somehow both 290079 and 290109 don´t match with the known last, and next Werkenummer in the relevant production batches of these He219 A-2´s.
