USAAF pilots in Hawaii, summer of 1942

So . . . looking at some USAAF folks in Hawaii in mid 1942. . . I have ranks, initials, and last names. Sure would be nice to have at least first names. Can anyone help out?

2LT E E Barr
CPT I C Connor
1LT D F Harbour
2LT J J Hood
2LT T C Johnson
2LT J W Jump
1LT L J Nagy
1LT W F Nolan
1LT J R Sawyer
2LT E E Straton

All these gents were fighter pilots who at various points in July and August of 1942 were TDY to the USN's VF-3 at NAS Maui where they checked out in F4Fs as found in the VF-3 War Diaries.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Re: USAAF pilots in Hawaii, summer of 1942

Thank you very, very much . . . even ASN's!

And you led me to where I could find the ASNs for the 4 or 5 gents for whom I already had full names.

Again, many thanks.

I keep a running list of USN aviators of the war years, far from complete, but about 50,000 individuals or so with about 180,000 entries for same. Figure I still need at least another 5,000 or so to be pretty close. Haven't even started on the Marines.

If I can be of service, don't hesitate.
