Information concerning loss of Uffz. Josef Reinberger - fighter pilot lost on 26.05.1941
 
Hi.

Have an old sterbebild of a fighter pilot killed on 26.05.1941.
He is an Uffz. Josef Reinberger. Has anyone any details about his loss?

Hi Rick

he crashed with his Ar 96 B-1 / 4151 by Alt-Schaumburg after forbidden flight maneuvers by fighter-school JFS 1.
Alt-Schaumburg is a small town 6km NW Küstrin.

I have the same information as JoMe, but should also note that this WNr. is a dup with a later loss - one is possibly wrong, or the Reinberger loss may not have been total though reported as 100%.

Ar 96B-1, 4151, Bräutigam, Uffz. (Sch), , , , JG 110, , , , , 18-Aug-44, Injured due to midair collision with Ar 96B-1 WNr. 425040., Dup WNr., Lfl.10, BA-MA Signatur RL 2 III/780, Flzg.-Unfälle und Verluste bei Schulen und usw., p.104, 153, , Pretzsch, 30%, H, , ,
