Exceptional set of pictures showing Luftwaffe planes found in 1945 at Budweis - Ceskych Budejovic
 

Dear all,

Here for our common delight quite an exceptional set of photos showing abandoned Fw 190 F-8 or F-9, Bf 109 G-14's and K-4, Ju 88 G-1's among others, found at Ceskych Budejovic in May 1945.

Hallo, look at book "Luftwaffe over Czech Territory 1945", JaPo publishing 2001. All planes are described there.

Thank you for the link but if I remember well it has been posted many times here and there, didn't it? I suppose you were involved in your deep diggings during that time :D...
As for units Some answers has been given - true or not but given. Should I digg NOW??

Hi Marc,

look at the 2nd page in magazine Revi number 79 - there is info about Ju 88G-6 W.Nr.622134 W7+OK - and last info - its Plana airfield (wreckfiled).

Yep, the starter for me posting this link was a glitched attempt to upload the pics on LEMB in their Luftwaffe airfield project, which were deleted because they superseded the 800 pixels limit... Goran gave me a hand, and there they are. To be sure our community could access this exceptional set, I decided to post it here as well.

Thanks for your pointer; Plana is Budweis's still extent airfield; the former hangars to be seen on the pics stand to this day.
