Hello all,

This is another airframe for which I am seeking information.

I am hoping that a member here might know the individual aircraft code letter for this machine whilst it was serving with 64 Squadron.

Sorry for dragging this one out from the mists of time but I am still after the individual aircraft code letter for this airframe whilst serving with 64 Sqn. Any help would be massively appreciated!

N3059 was not lost with 64 Sqn as it ended its days on 10.11.1943 with 8OTU so Fighter Command losses is no help here.

The unit used SH for its codes so look out for photos with these on them

Hi Larry,

It's a tricky one as photos of 64 tend to be scarce anyway. I have not seen a photo of N3059 whilst with 64 but am hoping that a member here in their research may have come across the code that was carried. All that I know is that she was a B Flight machine with 64 so coded one of the letters between L to Z.
