Looking for information about Lofts J. McGuire pilot on USS Missouri
 

I recently came into possession of items named to Lofts James (Mickey) Mcguire who was a catapult pilot on the USS Missouri during the war. I managed to get some of his flight gear (flight suit, Floppy hat, Flight helmet, AN6530 goggles and AN flight bag.)I am looking for any information regarding this pilot (Service, pictures, or even maybe talk to someone who knew him) Any info on the pilot would be welcome.

Thanks for the info, however thais was the only piece of info I managed to get from the web. I also gathered that he was most likely in VO 10.
