Marquardt

Here a S-K, of Fw Walter Marquardt, a pilot dead on 6.Sept. 1939, he was connected to Ln Rgt, nd to Lehr-Division

Ostrolenka could lead to a loss of I Z/LG1 on 7. Sept. or to KG27 on 5.th

Ln.Rgt to a loss of the Ln.Rgt 100 on 7 th.

Has anybody, more lights on this Marquardt ?

Dear Remi,
This is all I have found: DK-G Awards List. KIC 22 July, 1942 when his H-6 crashed near Kharkov-Voychenko airfielf for an unexplained reason, killing the entire crew. Remaining crew (KIC): Maj Hermann Kühl, Obs & RK Holder (11/24/40), Ofw Erich Lucke, R/O and Fw Walter Marquardt, Gnr..(Kaiser RK book).

I'm not sure, though, whether it's the same Walter Marquardt.
Best regards,
Teresa

Re: Marquardt

P.S. Now that I have seen the card I see this is another Walter Marquardt than the one I found. He was killed at Ostrołęka, Poland, but I have searched Polish websites for German losses near Ostrołęka in September 1939 and, unfortunately, I have found nothing.

It's a ground loss.
