I have to re-write this thread I wrote a couple of hours ago; Lost the "feeling"... no great things... Not bad too.

We met this one as "Schwarze 4", 5./JG 51 through bad pictures; these two are small but clear enough to show us it did wear another code number in a "past life".

Not a 1./JG 51 indeed... smells JG 3 (Black painted wing karmann & number style).

No4,5,6: Possible a Bf 109 F-1 with the DB 601 N? Some JG2 planes got this black painted wing karmann to cover the visibility the exhaust dust.

Ah Yes David,

I see the "N" on engine... Another thing I have to keep in mind.

Right David, but how many JG2 machines with yellow band around the fuselage??? That's what I said: "I had to rewrite" ... and forgot that part.
