Hi!
Hans Hogeback was born 10.10. 1915 in Marienried
His grave is located at the war cemetary Dionyssos-Rapendoza Gruft 2, row 13 and Platte 2.

His brother, Hptm. Hermann Hogeback, had wanted Hans to follow him to Fritzlar, but Hans wanted to fly a mission instead.
On this mission, which was the first of his missions, his aircraft, a Ju 88 A-5, Wnr. 5276 and the code L1 + ?W, came to close to the ground and crashed, killing all crewmembers.
BO Uffz. Erwin Horla
BF Gfr. Georg Loew
BS Ogr. Walter Friedenheim

I have found three different names of the crash site: Molai, Maloi and Molaoi....i do not know, which is the right one!!!

These informations i have found in "Die Geschichte des LG 1" volume 1 and two and "Volksbund deutscher Gräbersuche"

Hope this helps

Christian
