He111 & Ju87 shot down night 12/13 June 1940?
 

Hi guys

On the night of 12/13 June 1940, a Hampden flown by S/Ldr RS Allen, en route to Rheims, encountered a He111 and a Ju87, both of which were claimed shot down by his gunner Sgt Richard Williams, who received a DFM for his feat.

Any details of the aircraft involved, their fates and crew fates?

Hi Brian,

no nocturnal operations had been flown by Ju 87s at this stage of war.

Hi,

but there is no Ju 87 loss apart of one which had been lost during a daylight attack.
