Available - Part Two of 2.(H)/14 eArticle
Hello,
Air War Publications is very pleased to announce the launch of our latest eArticle, Part Two of the 2.(H)/14 unit history, available here, written by Adam Thompson and Andrew Arthy. We believe the article is one of our best yet. It tells the fascinating story of this short-range reconnaissance Staffel between November 1941 and November 1943, and features unpublished first-hand accounts, five colour profiles (two Bf 110s and three Bf 109s), two emblems, and three maps. The article is a must for those with an interest in the North African and Mediterranean air war, and we hope you enjoy what we have put together. Regards, Andrew & Morten Air War Publications - www.airwarpublications.com/earticles |

Congratulations to the three authors - Arthy, Thompson, Jessen - for a splendid history built on a solid foundation of outstanding primary research, photos, maps, profiles, tables, interviews and other illustrations!
Luftwaffe researchers and historians can't go wrong with this one. Larry de Zeng |

Larry - thanks for the very kind words about our article. We're glad you like it!
Sergio - no, we discovered that that particular FW 58 never served with the 1. Wüstennotstaffel, so we never had it profiled. I'll send you an email in a moment. Cheers, Andrew A. Air War Publications - www.airwarpublications.com/earticles |

Re: Available - Part Two of 2.(H)/14 eArticle
Hi Sergio,
I'm not sure which unit it was assigned to, but it was recorded as flying from Trapani to Castel Benito in Libya on the morning of 8 April 1942. Cheers, Andrew A. Air War Publications - www.airwarpublications.com/earticles |
