Looking for information about Feldwebel Willy Halter - KIA 27 June 1941 - Russian Front
 

Good morning to all

Am looking details about the loss of Feldwebel Willy Halter (or Halfer), born on Plattling on the 27 June 1915 and who died on the 27 June 1941 (his birthday).
He was on a Kampfgeschwader and had been awarded with the EKII.

I have a try at KRACKER but got no joy in finding either his Squadron, crew or machine he died on.

Any help most welcomed

Correct name is Fw. Willibald Halser.

27.06.1941, 16./KG zbV1 shot down in flames near Uszabach, 3 km ENE Molodeczno, 110 km ESE Wilna, Ju52/3m WNr. 6366, Markings IZ+IQ, Pilot Uffz. F. Demming, Bm Uffz. G. Hornung and Bs Fw. F. Robel WIA, Bf Fw. Willibald Halser KIA

I have just discovered the same fact - a little behind Michael - I have his prayer card if you would like a copy but from the information you've listed it sounds as if you already have it.
