You think Luftwaffe photos are expensive? --> P-38 books are more expensive ;-)

Did I miss something or is it time to invest in books about the P-38? :-)

There is something very strange about those bids. A leap from $15 to $1,050... Two bidders prepared to pay over $1,000 for two books?

So, roll up, roll up,people and form an orderly queue at my door. I'll sell you my books at $1,000 a time, and then piss off on a year-round holiday on the proceeds...

I really have seen it all now...

Perhaps I ought to go to amazon where 8 new & used examples of the first can be bought from £4.90 and 46 new & used examples of second are available from £5.98... Bob's your uncle, a surefire way to make your fortune!

Cheers

At least you get to see the Ebay ad, I don't even get that!

"Dear User:

They must have amended the Patriot Act again.

Flitzer: I am not sure where you are, however, I can tell you that in the US (Patriot Act), I can bring up the link fine and I can also, unlike many European Countries, bring up items from E-Bay with swastikas, if the are present.

I think that both bids were mistakes with "," and "."
So we have more than 1000 USD. I know the problem,
some time ago I placed a bid of 1600 instead of 16,00...

Hmmm. A thousand bucks for a paperback ? Can't fault it. Maybe I'll advertise my new book on ebay, then do with the proceeds as Mr Vasco suggests above ? Cheers guys.

someone had to bid the high figure over a slightly lower figure.

If you bid 1600 instead of 16 the what would show is only what it took to out bid the previous high bid
