1944-08-02, 3./NAGr. 13 (NAGr. 13), Bf 109 G-8, 200040, Raum Rennes - Saint Malo, Luftkampf. Bruch 100 %.
Flugzeugführer Ofw Landsmann, Alois, vermißt

Maybe he was found later, (in November?), because VDK has his grave information. Also, it is posible, that he died in hospital.

Hello,
There are several years I discovered the exact location of the fall of the Bf 109 G-8, 200,040 of Ofw Landsmann, Alois. A Combourg north of Rennes, seriously injured that day on August 2, I even found a nurse who had done him an injection of morphine at the scene of the crash.
Landsmann, Aloi was taken to the hospital Combourg then transferred to the hospital of the major seminary in Rennes where he died of his wounds on November 25.
His wife Lily Landsmann came to see him at Rennes at the hospital of the major seminary in Rennes just before his death.

The family of Landsmann were Neighbours , 5 Minutes from my hometown.
