which flight sim
 

hi guys, can anyone recommend a good flight sim (combat) ive already got cfs 1 and il2. i was thinking of getting cfs3 ,just wondering what you guys thought of it or have you any other suggestions. not really bothered about il2 fb or going on-line to play. any recommendations would be great, thanks.

well, hard to say , you have the best already ( il2/FB/ AEP ) .
if you want to fight around the channel 1940, get BOB II from shockwave.
and to speak about cfs3.
out of the box IMHO a poor game, the worst of microsofts combat flight simulators (cfs1, cfs 2, cfs3 )
you ´ll need some addon´s like "firepower" .

My advice would be not to touch CFS3 with a barge pole! It wrecked my PC and has had dreadful reviews. It simply doesn't perform on some computers.
The latest of the IL2 series is certainly the best with a Battle of Britain add on in the pipeline.
Try to get reviews of BoB2 before buying as the first version was alos dreadful!
