The date on that Sterbebild is very probably the burial date.

Gen.Qu. loss return 27 August 1942 item 109:
22.8. 2./JG 77 Comiso, kein Feindflug, Bruchlandung infolge Bedienungsfehler Bf 109 F-4 13193 40%. Handwritten added: loss category 23 = damaged without enemy action on a non-operational flight.
