Privet!

Good work! Even if Stalingrad falls out of my interest focus this is a book I may have to buy.

I only hope someone will eventually write similar book about the North-Western sector, too. Leningrad PVO, 13th Air Army, KBF etc.

I believe that Nikita's time has been taken up with caring for his family which has put a hold on his time for writing. From the "sample" that I saw it will be worth it when it does come out.

Re: Fighters over Stalingrad Volume 1

Thank you for that information, family must come first, I hope and pray for Nikita that his family situation improves.

Is there any update on this project?

I am close to sending the material to publisher. Hope in a couple of weeks. Other will depend on how appropriate and readable they will find the manuscript before and after proofreading...

Two years later...

...do we know any more about this? I have been longing to own a copy of this.

Re: Fighters over Stalingrad Volume 1

Any news regarding this book?

What worries me quite a bit is that both the author and the publisher no longer give any kind of feed back/updates. What has gone wrong??

Cheers
Stig

Re: Fighters over Stalingrad Volume 1

Stig,

I get no word from the author and contact via Skype, etc., goes unanswered, sadly, which is a great pity as I am very keen to publish this book. Even the front cover panel was designed some time ago...

Thanks for getting back to us Jay

Is there anyone on TOCH who is in contact Nikita and can check what has happened to him? Must be something serious since he was already on finals years ago.

Cheers
Stig

Re: Fighters over Stalingrad Volume 1

You are welcome, Stig, and please feel free to contact me whenever.

I have e-mailed Nikita and my correspondence, including Skype messages, go unanswered. Shame as the front cover panel looks fabulous and we had a lot of sales interest in it. I am most keen to publish the book...

With very best wishes,

Jay

Last word that I got from him was work was consuming his free time and he couldn’t work on this project. Its a shame as I saw some completed pages and it was excellent research done.
