DB 603 engine identification plate

Hello,
I found a DB 603 engine identification plate at a flea market.
The engine serial number is 01500406.
What plane can it come from?
Thanks.
Regards.

Re: DB 603 engine identification plate

It could have been in any of the aircraft listed here, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daimler-Benz_DB_603 or it may have never been installed in an aircraft and was a spare at the end of the war.

The chances of I.D.'ing it to a specific aircraft is slim to none.

Re: DB 603 engine identification plate

Unless I am mistaken, MNr. 01500406 would be Flugmotorenwerke Ostmark, Wien-Mölding-built DB 603 A-2, and the Typenschild may have a “kwo” Hersteller code stamped on it.
Respectfully,

Hello,
Yes, it's an identification plate from a Dornier Do 217 M-11 engine!
Yes, there is the stamp "KWO"...
