Details of Missions flown...

Hello,

Details of Missions flown over Northern Italy on 13th July 1944.

Am seeking info on the loss of a twin engine aircraft who's pilot or at least one crew member was killed.

It would look as though the SAAF Squadron losses were all too far to the South.

Which leaves only RAF/ Luftwaffe, RSI and French Squadrons.

USAAF losses are not within the scope of this search.

So Luftwaffe and RSI Squadron Losses only please.

Any info is most welcome.

Thanks
Alex

Hello Nick,

Yes the "Edit" Button. But if you look (at least on my screen) there is NO Edit button at the bottom right in my post 1.

Thanks for the info on the Defecting Do17Z.

The part that I wanted to edit is the "RSI" it should have read "ANR".
Same correction in the post in the Allied section.

Many thanks
Alex

Hello Icare9,

many thanks for the names of the four from 40 sqdn, small crew would have thought that there would have been more . Perhaps the others survived and were returned to the Unit or became POW's.
I will try to find out more on this loss.
many thanks
Alex
