Me262 captured by British troops
Hi folks,
Does anyone know where and when the Brits first put their hands on fully operational Me262 jets? I was reading Clostermann´s book The Great Show (I know there are many roors there, but it is fun!), and he mentioned that a flight of five Me262s surrendered to British troops in Fassberg on May 5th, 1945, after left Praga. Is it correct? Thanks, Douglas. |
262
The British received more when they captured Schleswig, the 262's belonging mostly to 10./NJG 11.

Dan,
Thanks! However is there any account about this Me262´s surrender on May 5th, 1945? Wishes, Douglas. |
Fassberg Me 262s
The Luftwaffe Experten Board had an item about these aircraft some time ago:
