In De Zeng's and Stankey's Luftwaffe Officers' Career Summaries, I have found only this about Otto Kath: KATH, Otto. (DOB: 12.01.15). 17.08.36 began flight training. (n.d.) with JG 132. 26.09.39 in 3./JG 2. 1940 in Stab I./JG 20. 19.07.40 with Stab III./JG 54 - shot down by a Defiant, crash-landing unhurt at Escalles/France. 29.03.41 Oblt., appt Geschw.Adj./JG 54 (to 03.02.43). 06.04.41 WIA - Bf 109 E-4 shot down near Ptuj. 24.07.41 Oblt., Stab/JG 54. 18.12.41 Oblt., Stab/JG 54. 01.08.42 promo to Hptm. 03.02.43 Hptm., appt Adj. Stab/JG 54 (to 24.09.43). 24.09.43 Hptm., Adj., Stab/JG 54 injured - Fi 156 C-3 (DO+AW) during emergency landing near rail bridges between Witebsk - Orscha due to motor trouble. Credited with 6 victories. Do you happen to know where he was from, where he lived and when he passed away or whether he is perhaps still alive (however, judging by his date of birth, I don't think he is alive).
