Werknummer 258307

Can anyone think of an aircraft type that belonged to Werknummer 258307? A/c should have been lost around December 1944 in Belgium.....

Cheers,

John

Approx 5 km south of Eupen....pilot or crew member was recovered as unknown and buried as unknown at Henri-Chapelle Military Cemetery on Feb. 16th 1945. Date of crash was estimated as early December. Unknown later reburied at Lommel, today still as unknown.

Yes, but not knowing if appliable.
Cessna UC-78 Bobcat. Several were sent to Europe and used in England.
Not knowing if 42-58307 was one but J Baugher website does not list a fate.
