Adolf Galland's B-26 Claim 16/4/1945?

According to "JV44: The Galland Circus", This two victories claimed in the morning. As Galland said in his "The First and The Last", the battle was over Landsberg am Lech: One bomber immediately caught fire and exploded; a second lost large parts of its right tail unit and wing and began to spiral earthward.

That should be two confirm victories.

But,I can only find out these MACR reports of that day:

409BG A-26 41-39275 Zerbst mission,10:30 shot down over target
322BG B-26 42-96067 Wittenberg mission,19:12,crash on target area
322BG B-26 42-96225 Wittenberg mission,19:10,crash on target area
387BG B-26 44-67894 Tuttlingen mission,18:25,mechanical trouble, bailed out over Swiss

None of them can match Galland's words.

Is it possible that some MACR report missing?

Hello!

I don´t know, if the losses of B-26 used by french Armée de L´Air got MACR Reports, too? If not, you also have to check their losses.

Herzliche Grüsse aus Oberschwaben,

31 EBM and 34 EBM (French B-26 units) all went to bomb Royan area that day, as did the 320th BG. Not sure what the 17th BG did, but if there is no MACR then it's not them

Hello

The facts reported by Galland occured on 20/04/45 and not 16/04/45
Galland reports that during the events(district of Landsberg am Lech),his wingman (Eduard Schalmoser),came back to base in the evening,his parachute under his arm and an ankle sprained.

Indeed,Schallmoser was shot down (20/04/45) while striking a B-26 (323°BG,s/n 44-68109,1Lt James H.Hansen)

Me 262 A-1a "11 white" prob.111745 100% JV 44 (crashes after collision with B-26,Lenzfried-im-Allgau,2km NE Kempten)

US Losses:
3 B-26 shot down
7 B-26 damaged

Abschusse:
Galland=two B-26
Schallmoser =one B-26 (unfounded:Lt Hansen only damaged)
"Jonny" Muller=two B-26 with R4M
