Dam Buster Log Book

Hello,

I do not know if anyone on this forum has heard of the 617 Sqdn last man's log book being lost ?

From what I recall from the short news price on TV the log was loaned to someone and it seems was then stollen.

So if anyone hears of or is. Offered this Log book or comes across it on line (eBay etc ) then please contact the authorities.

There has been quite a bit on this in the Press & other forums & the "historian" responsible has been found guilty & has been sentenced. It is highly unlikely that anyone will be offered this logbook especially as the guilty party is refusing to say where it now is. Sad state of affairs I'm afraid
