The First Day on the Eastern Front [off topic]
From the Stone & Stone web site:
Author Craig Luther tells us his new book, The First Day on the Eastern Front: Germany Invades the Soviet Union, June 22, 1941, will be released by Stackpole Books in November. "It is 504 pages, large format (7" by 10") and addresses the first 21 hours of Operation Barbarossa (the Germans, of course, attacked at just after 0300) in granular detail; it is based on German and Soviet archival sources, and includes a large number of first hand accounts by participants on both sides." Luther's previous Barbarossa book is really excellent (and quite massive).
