Re: Sgt Jenkinson 68 Sqn
Chris,
I have a Sgt Jenkinson (no initials) in 68 Sqn, with Sgt Kendall as radar operator, claiming an He 111 probable on April 29, 1942. And I have a P/O W Jenkinson in 46 Sqn in the MTO with an unknown radar operator claiming a Z.506 in the "Eastern Mediterranean", date uncertain, possibly August 7, 1943. This from the ORB: Air 27/460. Quite possibly the same person, and maybe more information can be found by going through the 46 Sqn ORB. Enjoy! Frank. |

Re: Sgt Jenkinson 68 Sqn
Hello,
One possibility: JENKINSON Wallace (147747/ 655045) - oper. Kendall – went to 46 and 239 Sqn KENDALL Robert Charles DFC (173876/1192588) - pilot Jenkinson went 46 and 239 Sqn Needs confirmation! Regards Pavel |
Re: Sgt Jenkinson 68 Sqn
Thanks Pavel. I am fairly sure his probable was a destroyed & Hptm Eberhard Hennings of 10./KG 4 & a RK winner. It would appear that his combat report is missing from the NA?
