12BG(Medium) 3AF 1942

Hi all

Amercan units have never been my strong point. I have a B25 beloniging to the 12BG of the 3AF (United States) in 1942. No idea of the Bomber squadrons connected.

This is different to the 12BG(M) who went to India in March 1942

Would there be two 12BG. The other 12BG was still in Louisiana throughout 1942

12BG were also operating from Camp Beuregard, Louisiana.

If anymore can help with this, that would be great.

Also looking for a B25 pilot 2/Lt? K. T. Blakely.

The 12th BG , arrived in Egypt August, 1942 from U.S. Assigned Middle East AF.
