Missing Air Crew Reports
Hi,
A lot of Macr's (perhaps almost all) are available on the NARA website : https://catalog.archives.gov/search?...estorNaIds=421 Best regards Luc |
Re: Missing Air Crew Reports
Thank you Luc!

Re: Missing Air Crew Reports
It appears that this site is searchable by MACR number or plane serial number. It does not appear to be searchable via any crew names (unlike fold3.com).

Re: Missing Air Crew Reports
Does this still work ?
https://catalog.archives.gov/search?...estorNaIds=421 I keep getting no results ? |
Re: Missing Air Crew Reports
Hi Alex,
Checked this with a few browsers : no problem with Firefox but it didn’t work with Edge and Opera. May have something to do with the options of these programs…. If you are looking for a specific macr, just ask ! Best regards Luc |
Re: Missing Air Crew Reports
Are MACRs 9696 and 9694 available?
(43-28662 and 44-24035) |
Re: Missing Air Crew Reports
Hi Vathra,
They are missing on the Nara-website and are also missing on Fold3. best regards Luc |
Re: Missing Air Crew Reports
Vathra,
Have you tried to order those from a commercial site. For example, both are listed on this page (P-38s from the 82nd FG) and "may" be available (for a fee of course). https://www.aviationarchaeology.com/.../44NovMACR.htm |

Some 2-3% of total planes - probably it is same ratio as with other areas. I just wanted to check if they might be available here. Most of data from them I covered from other sources, so they are not so important to pay for them. |
